Dragon’s Dogma is a fairly challenging game, and that was a big part of its charm for me, but apparently enough players felt it was too hard. Released earlier this week on 8/6, patch 1.03 adds a new “easy” difficulty setting that reduces the amount of damage taken by the player. You can change the difficulty setting under the options menu.
Players also reported their connection timing out when they rested at an inn but no one recruited their Pawn, which has also been fixed by the current patch. I’ve only had this happen twice in my 60+ hours with Dragon’s Dogma but I’m glad Capcom is keeping at eye on issues that effect gameplay.
Now.. if they’d only patch in fast travel.
