While April Impressed, May’s Xbox ‘Games With Gold’ Line-Up is Mostly Forgettable

After a stellar April line-up, it’s a shame to see such a forgettable Xbox Games With Gold offering coming our way next month. Can’t win ’em all I guess, right?

Xbox One owners can pick up the not-so-bad/not-so-good RPG Costume Quest 2 (from May 16th) and tower defense sequel Defense Grid 2 (available May 1st). Speaking from experience Costume Quest 2 is funny at times, and a relatively straightforward 1000G in Achievements, but it’s largely repetitive and boring.

Up for grabs on Xbox 360 is racer Grid 2 (available May 1st) and the original Peggle (from May 16th), both of which are available on Xbox One via backwards compatibility.
