It’s the First Day of Fall and I’m Already Celebrating Halloween.

The fine folks at London 1888 have a sweet line of horror merch on their e-shop, so I dipped into the ol’ wallet and picked up a couple of things that catered to my NES Friday the 13th obsession.

I’ve used the graphic on this t-shirt for a while as a Twitter avatar and was incredibly sad when I missed the actual shirt’s release a year or two ago. Not this time. I’m also a sucker for these three-fourth sleeved old-school baseball shirts.

I *really* wanted the hoodie, but the XL sizes all sold out pretty quickly. Next time, Gadget. Next time.

Atop the shirt, I also snagged this NES Friday the 13th-themed sticker for my truck.

Jason’s mother’s head, who shares his awkwardly beautiful blueberry-grape color scheme, is battled down in the caves and the thought of having her severed head adorning my vehicle alongside the pixely rendition of her murderous son fills me with so much joy.

Tis the season.

  1. Pretty cool! I love Halloween, but of course I haven’t been able to really go nuts with it as I’m almost always too busy to go out when it hits. But if anyone out there IS free this year. Put on A Fire In The Sky. This is not a horror movie, but you’ll still crap your pants.

    1. It’s my favorite holiday, by far, but after moving out to the middle of nowhere there is nobody celebrating it. I haven’t had a trick-or-treater in almost a decade, but I would stroll the streets for hours as a kid filling up pillowcases with candy. I never missed a Halloween, even into my mid-20s.

A Fire in the Sky is great!
